Custom Letterpress Printed Invitations
By collaborating with talented letterpress printers, we create elegant and unique wedding stationery. Our invitations fuse contemporary design with an old printing method to evoke a sense of timelessness — and show off the sophistication of hand-printed paper pieces.

.
what is letterpress?
This form of printing is created by pressing a raised inked surface into a sheet of paper. This raised surface is typically metal type, wood type or a photopolymer plate.
The printed image is crisp and sharp because a dense layer of ink is deposited only in the floor of the impression, leaving the walls of the impression clean. The impression in letterpress is not done for effect; it is a real artifact of the process. The letterpress process is labor-intensive and time-consuming. Printing well requires a great deal of skill and meticulous attention to detail.
The result is a mulit-dimensional printed piece with nostalgic and tactile qualities. It is pleasing to both the eye and the hand and allows us to experience fine art in this very accessible form.
